Dynamic 3D visualization of nuclei during early embryogenesis. Selected nuclei of a mh¹ embryo (same as in movie 2) were tracked using einSTA from the syncytial blastoderm until gastrulation. Subsequently, isosurfaces of tracks were generated using DyVis3D, which were rendered from two different perspectives. Two fusion events of diploid nuclei becoming tetraploid during anaphase are indicated by arrows at 11:55 [min:sec]. The two resulting tetraploid in the isosurface views are colored in yellow.
