Motility of Loom^lacZ spermatozoa. Spermatozoa were isolated from cauda epididymis of adult Loom^lacZ/lacZ testis (21 weeks old) in parallel to wild-type spermatozoa and treated identically. In contrast to wild-type sperm, Loom flagella beat irregularly, often not using the whole length of the flagella; Loom sperm motility is impaired.
