Control PECs show higher proliferation rate than the CKO PECs.
Tbx18Cre/+; Cdc42fl/+; mTmG (control) and Tbx18Cre/+; Cdc42fl/fl; mTmG (CKO) hearts at E9.5 were fixed and whole mount stained for MF20, a marker for cardiomyocytes, and PH3, a marker for mitotic cells. Then the embryos were cleared and 3D imaged. The PE is shown section-by-section in each movie. Suppl. Movie 7 shows all sections of a control heart and suppl.
