Time-lapse fluorescence microscopy of GFP-PIE-1 in air-1 (RNAi) in the one-cell stage of C. elegans embryos. Time-lapse movies were acquired using an IX83 with XM10 cool CCD chip camera (Olympus) using a 60X 1.4 NA objective at 1 frame every 20 seconds, and played at 20 frames/sec. Note the segregation of GFP-PIE-1 to both anterior and posterior regions of air-1 (RNAi) embryo, when compared to the posterior localisation in control embryo (Movie 21).
