Time-lapse fluorescence microscopy of GFP-PH in air-1 (RNAi) in the one-cell stage of C. elegans embryos. Time-lapse movies were acquired an IX83 with XM10 cool CCD chip camera (Olympus) using a 60X 1.4 NA objective at 1 frame every 10 seconds, played at 20 frames/sec. Laplace edge detection filter was applied. Note uniform, pronounced ingressions in air-1 (RNAi) in contrast to the posterior smoothening in control embryo (Movie 7).
