Movie 1

Cranial neural crest cell migratory behaviors are altered in vitro after AQP-1 manipulation. (top) Control migrating neural crest cells exposed to DMSO. (middle) AQP-1 was inhibited by adding Acetazolamide (AZA) to the media. AZA was solubilized in DMSO. (bottom) AQP-1 was overexpressed by transfection of AQP-1 full length construct (green cells). Cranial neural tube explants are shown on the left-hand side of each panel. Time intervals between images ranged from 2.5 to 4 minutes and frame speed was adjusted so that each time-lapse was 8 hours in duration. Scale bar= 30 um.
