Two-channel volume rendering based on a microDECT scan of the ribcage of an E16.5 mouse foetus stained with 0.1% ruthenium red in 50% ethanol. The two colour maps were chosen to closely resemble colours of the traditional clearing and staining method. Bone is displayed in red, cartilage is displayed in blue.
