Movie showing movement of PA-GFP through the RCs in elongating spermatids. Photoactivation of PA-GFP in a subset of spermatids demonstrates intercellular exchange of cytoplasmic protein occurs post-tail elongation. Images were acquired at 30 second intervals for 10 minutes following activation.
