Sequential series of images of a whole E6.5 embryo stained for EOMES protein. The cells of the PS and posterior epiblast are positive for EOMES. In the most distal EOMES positive domain some negative or low expressing cells are detected. All cells that have delaminated from the PS are positive for EOMES expression. Scale bar 50 μm. n = 6
