The labeled cable is growing at approximately 0.04 μm/min, typical of the slow growing nurse cables in this genotype (Fig. 5G). Cable length was assessed by measuring the Euclidian distance between the cortex and the distal tip of an actin cable. Each frame is a maximum projection of 16 optical slices at 0.5 μm step size.
