srp silencing by srp[HMS01298] in AFBp cells causes thread-like cellular assemblies. Representative high-magnification lateral view movie of abdominal AFBp cells in the absence (left) or presence (right) of srp[HMS01298]. srp[HMS01298] and CD4::tdGFP were under the control of c833-Gal4, ppl-4kb-Gal80, and tub-Gal80[ts]. srp[HMS01298] expression was induced from 24 h APF (19°C) onward. srp[HMS01298]-expressing AFBp cells failed to be uniformly distributed and assembled into strikingly elongated cellular structures at 50 h APF.
