AFBp cells emerge from the ventroanterior end of the abdomen and then migrate posteriorly. At first, some axonal projections extending from the central nervous system were seen and then underwent metamorphic degeneration. AFBp cells appeared at 15 h APF and then migrated posteriorly while they frequently divided. Anterior is to the left.
