Simultaneous imaging of AMPK activity and Ca²⁺ transients before and after TTX+APV treatment. Cultured hippocampal neurons were transfected with AMPKAR-EV and jRGECO1a. The pseudo-color represents the YFP/CFP ratio (AMPK activity, left), and the Ca²⁺ influx (right), respectively. Images were acquired every 5 sec for 5 min at DIV5 using epifluorescence microscopy.
