Segmentation of PAAs. Initially, the region of interest is cropped, specifying the start and end slices. The number of clusters is determined empirically to extract the desired structures, first by determining the initial centres using kmeans++. Then, by specifying the cluster centroids of the previous slice as the centres for the next slice and iteratively applying k-means automatically, the desired structures can be efficiently extracted.
