Time lapse light sheet movie of a Wnt1:Cre;mTmG embryo at E10.5. The embryo is different to the one shown in Movie 3. The field of view is within the apical region of supraorbital mesenchyme near the adjacent lateral ectoderm on the left. Cell membranes are sparsely labelled in green due to mosaicism of the Cre allowing for visualization of filopodia. Filopodial extension precedes apical movement of the cell body (dark) just deep to the ectoderm.
