Movie 1.

Anterior vertebrae of wild-type zebrafish. The 3D movie shows the anterior vertebrae of wild-type zebrafish (n=4). Adult zebrafish, at approximately 3–5 months old, were subjected to micro-CT scanning, and two representative images were selected. The skeletal structures are displayed in 3D-VR (three-dimension-volume rendering) images. Names are given for the characteristic bones in the anterior vertebrae of the zebrafish. The four small bones of the Weberian ossicles are indicated by yellow letters. Scale bar: 1 mm.
