Movie 13.

Anterior and thoracic vertebrae of zebrafish hoxc8a homozygous mutants. The 3D movie shows the anterior and thoracic vertebrae of zebrafish hoxc8a-/- mutants (n=5). Adult zebrafish, approximately 3–5 months old, obtained through intercrossing hoxc8a heterozygous mutant fish, were subject to micro-CT scanning. As a control, a representative image of the wild-type fish (n=3) was shown. Two representative images of hoxc8a mutants were provided to validate reproducibility. The skeletal structures are visualized in 3D-MIP (three dimension-maximum intensity projection) images. Scale bar: 1 mm.
