Anterior vertebrae of medaka hoxc6a homozygous mutants. The 3D movie shows the anterior vertebrae of medaka hoxc6a^-/- mutants (n=3). Adult medaka, approximately 3–5 months old, obtained through intercrossing hoxc6a heterozygous mutant fish, were subjected to micro-CT scanning. Two representative images were provided to validate reproducibility. The skeletal structures are visualized in 3D-VR images. Scale bar: 1 mm.
