Live imaging of GFP-Sc in wild-type pupae. Dynamics of GFP-Sc (green) in the pupal abdomen (nuclear RFP, red). See Fig 2A-D'. This movie is a maximum projection view of a (x,y,z,c,t) movie. The ADHN and PDHN are seen as expanding islands of small proliferating cells surrounded by large larval epidermal cells that are progressively eliminated. A row of posterior SOPs appeared first before a salt-and-pepper pattern of SOPs emerge in the central region of the ADHN. Time is in h:min.
