Live imaging of a Notch activity reporter. Live imaging of NRE-deGFP (green; nlsRFP, red). Cells in the posterior region of the ADHN had received a Notch-activating signal prior to the onset of imaging. Notch activity became detectable in the anterior cells of the central region of the ADHN as SOPs (identified as NRE-deGFP low cells) emerged. Note that a small number of larval ectodermal cells were also positive for NRE-deGFP. See Fig. 7A,B. Time is in h:min.
