Related to Figure 7. Time-lapse recordings of cell membrane protrusive activity in NIH3T3 cells treated with DMSO, FAKi or FAKi + Srci.
The video shows NIH3T3 cells transfected with RFP-lifeact and treated with the indicated drugs. Note the difference in polarised lamellipodia protrusions between the control (DMSO) and drug treated cells. Furthermore, note the increase in peripheral filipodia in the drug treated cells, particularly evident in cells treated with FAKi + Srci. Images were taken every 2 minutes for 90 minutes. Images are played back at 7 frames/s. Scale bar represents 10 μm.
