Myosin VI localizes to the periphery of gap junction plaques. NRK cells stably expressing Cx43-GFP (green) and HT-myosin VI were conjugated with the JF646-HaloTag ligand (red) before imaging using TIRF microscopy. Myosin VI is recruited to the periphery of Cx43 GJ plaques (see arrowheads, Figure 7D). Scale bar, 10 µm.
