Movie 2

Trim33 morphants are devoid of microglia.
In vivo dorsal view of the midbrain of 3 days old Tg(HuC:GFP;mpeg1:Gal4FF;UASE1b:NfsB:mCherry) embryos injected (right) or not (left) with the Trim33 morpholino at 1-cell stage. Macrophages expressing mCherry appear in red fluorescence, neurons expressing GFP appear in green. As the movies proceed deeper along the Z axis of a single time-point, numerous macrophages can be seen between and around neurons of the optic tectum in the control embryo (left), but not in in the morphant (right). Orientation, anterior to the left. 20× objective, zoom 1.6. 225 μm z-stack (45 planes, every 5 μm).

Trim33 is essential for macrophage and neutrophil mobilization to developmental or inflammatory cues
