Trim33 morphants are devoid of microglia.

Macrophages expressing mCherry appear in red fluorescence, neurons expressing GFP appear in green. As the movies proceed deeper along the Z axis of a single time-point, numerous macrophages can be seen between and around neurons of the optic tectum in the control embryo (left), but not in in the morphant (right).
