Time-lapse movie of mitotic HeLa cells expressing EGFP-fused wild-type importin β. Mitotic HeLa cells expressing EGFP-importin β and mPlum-histone H3 were observed under a confocal laser scanning microscope. Images were taken every 2 min. Breakdown and reformation of the nuclear membrane were observed.
