MT1-MMP is exocytosed from flotillin-positive vesicles
MDA-MB-231 cells that co-express flotillin 2-mCherry and MT1-MMP-pHluorin were monitored by using confocal microscopy; 1 frame/3 seconds. A flotillin 2-containing vesicle is indicated by a red arrow that becomes yellow when the GFP fluorescent signal appears, indicating that MT1-MMP is exocytosed. Red open arrows indicate flotillin 2-positive vesicles converging towards the exocytic site. Scale bar: 2 μm.
