To visualize calcium fluxes induced by L. amazonensis MEFs were loaded with the calcium probe Fluo-4AM and incubated with LLa-RFP in the presence of 2 mM CaCl2. Cells were imaged for 15 min in a Nikon C2 confocal 1038 microscope at 10 frames/s.
