MDA-MB-231 cells stably expressing N-terminally EGFP-tagged ATP11C-a (A and A’) or ATP11C-b (B and B’). TD and EGFP images were merged (A’ and B’). ATP11C-b localized to the cell body and was excluded from the lamellipodia, whereas ATP11C-a was localized to the entire plasma membrane including the lamellipodia. Time-lapse images were recorded every 20 sec and movies correspond to 10 frames per second. TD, transmission differential interference contrast.
