Movie 1

This movie demonstrates the movement of polystyrene microspheres along the flagellum. Images were acquired at a rate of one image per 111 msec, or nine images (i. e. frames) per second. The video displays at 30 frames per second, and thus the movie shows microsphere movement at 3.3x greater than normal speed.
