Retrograde actin flow.
This movie shows the dynamic of actin network (Lifeact-GFP) in RPE1 cells plated on crossbow-shaped micropattern. Cells were treated with a control siRNA (siCTR, left) or siRNAs against α-actinin 1 and 4 (siACTN, right). Images were taken every 30 seconds. In each pannel, the left movie shows raw images and the right movies the segmented images. The upper inset is a magnified view of the upper part of the cell. Red arrows show the local orientation and magnitude of actin structure displacements.
