MDA-MB-231 cell labeled with (red) CellMask and embedded in (green) fluorescently labeled collagen I imaged starting at t = 6 h after cells were embedded in collagen. The cell shows how bleb formation becomes increasingly confined to a particular cell region over time and how the coincident collagen reorganization is spatiotemporally coordinated with the recurrent bleb formation. Images were taken every 10 seconds. Length of movie is 12.5 minutes. Movie is played back at 7 frames/s. Frames from this movie are also shown in Fig. 8B in the main text (rotated by 180°).
