Dynamics of EGFP-tagged, full length lamellipodin (EGFP-Lpd) in a migrating B16-F1 cell. B16-F1 control melanoma cell expressing EGFP-Lpd and subjected to fluorescence and phase contrast time-lapse microscopy during its migration on laminin. Note the restriction of EGFP-Lpd localization to the edges of protruding and rearward ruffling lamellipodia, but the lack of association with nascent or mature focal adhesions.
