tGPH in NC13 shows increased polygonality from interphase to metaphase
Change in the shape of syncytial cells from spherical (high circularity) to polygonal (low circularity) with increasing furrow lengths at NC13. Surface XY images of the furrow ingression front at increasing furrow lengths with time are compiled into a time series to show the dynamic changes in syncytial cell shape. To begin with syncytial cells are circular but as the furrow length increases the shape transforms into a polygon with distinct edges. Scale Bar = 5 μm.
