Visualization of CaP axon extension via light-sheet microscopy in intact zebrafish embryos. SAIGFF213A:GFP transgenic embryos, which specifically express GFP (in green) in the spinal neurons (including in the CaPs), were fixed at ~24 hpf. They were then immunolabeled with an antibody against the myosin heavy chain (in red) to show the location of the slow muscle cells (SMCs) and imaged via light-sheet microscopy. This movie shows a three-dimensional reconstruction of the images and demonstrates the spatial relationship between the CaPs and SMCs within the trunk.
