[Ca2+]fla elevations prevent IFT-driven microsphere movement.
TIRF imaging of red fluorescent microspheres on the flagellum shown in Movie 4. IFT-driven movement of a red fluorescent microsphere can be observed from 1.3 s (arrowed). Following the large [Ca2+]fla elevation at 2.0 s (Movie 4), the microsphere movement ceases and the microsphere is lost from the flagellum.
