Phase light microscopy live cell imaging of +/+ monocytes as they fuse into OCLs. Individual images were obtained at 5-minute intervals for a period of 21 hours. Note maturation of three adjacent multi-nucleated cells at bottom left of screen between t=450-755 minutes, and lack of fusion between pairs of mature, round OCLs. Still images from this movie are presented in Figures 2C, 2D.
