Defective vacuolar trafficking of yEGFP-Vps27 in snf1Δ cells under low glucose conditions. Confocal time-lapse images of yEGFP-Vps27 showing that perivacuolar granules of yEGFP-Vps27 accumulated in snf1Δ cells grown in low glucose medium for ∼1 day at 30°C. The Vps27 granules were highly mobile, undergoing rapid docking and separation. The time-lapse video comprises 30 image frames taken at 5 s intervals with 2.53 s scanning time for each frame and played at 2 frames per second; the real time length was 145 s for this video.
