Time-lapse imaging of type A HeLa cells expressing DsRed-CRIPT^C3Y. Cells transfected with DsRed tagged CRIPT^C3Y were photographed as described for CRIPT^WT. During 24-hour recording, three types A cells in a representative field were captured, and all three cells were recoded to progress into metaphase within 15 minutes after the onset of mitosis, while their spindle halves were continuously moving back and forth over 8 hours till the end of the recording.
