Time-lapse imaging of type B HeLa cell expressing DsRed-CRIPTC3Y. The mitotic cell progressed into metaphase less than 15 min after the mitosis onset at around 12:00. The spindles were formed normally and were seen to move back and forth for 2 hours. At around 14:00, the spindle halves were completely separated, then rapidly gathered to form a messy fiber-like structure that exists till the end of the recording.
