Co-inhibition of formin and Arp2/3 yields abnormal actin recruitment kinetics around invading Chlamydia Cos7 cells were transfected with GFP-actin 24hrs prior to pretreatment with 10μM SMIFH2 and 100μM CK666 for 1hr. Transfected cells were infected with CMTPX-Chlamydia at MOI=20 and imaged by quantitative live-cell imaging, collecting images every 20 seconds for 30 minutes. Images were assembled into videos in ImageJ and annotated to highlight recruitment events (arrows).
