Ionomycin treatment stimulates Ca2+-mediated S100A11 recruitment to discrete regions at the cell periphery. HeLa cells were co-transfected with GFP-S100A11 (green) and the calcium sensor R-GECO1 (red). After stimulation with 3 μM ionomycin in Ca2+-containing medium, a single cell was then immediately imaged at a rate of 1 frame every 20 s by TIRF microscopy. Scale bar: 10 μm.
