Ionomycin-induced S100A11 recruitment to disassembling FAs requires NMII activity. Upper panel: U2OS cells co-transfected with GFP-S100A11 (green) and Lifeact-mCherry (red) were stimulated with 3 μM ionomycin immediately before TIRF imaging. S100A11 displays recruitment to FAs. Lower panel: Presence of the NMII inhibitor blebbistatin (50 μM) inhibits ionomycin-induced GFP-S100A11 recruitment.
