Ionomycin-induced S100A11 recruitment to FAs requires active Piezo1 channels. U2OS cells transfected with GFP-S100A11 were incubated without (left) or with (right) the Piezo1 inhibitor GsMTx4 (3 μM). Subsequent stimulation with ionomycin (3 μM) induced S100A11 recruitment only when Piezo1 channels were not inhibited.
