Ionomycin induced cell contraction is blocked by NMII inhibition. U2OS cells stimulated with 3 μM ionomycin either without (left) or with (right) blebbistatin preincubation (50 μM) were imaged by holographic tomography. Without blebbistatin, ionomycin induces cell contraction and membrane bleb formation.
