(Related to Fig. 2): Widefield microscopy was used to visualize the fluorescent signal emitted from a transfected HeLa cell expressing RNF13-GFP (green) and AP-1-mCherry (red) proteins. Each frame of this representative cell was acquired every five seconds over 65 cycles. 4-7 cells were imaged for each of the three independent experiments performed.
