Filamentous display of whole glomerular capillary system in adult mouse. This glomerular capillary system (GCS) is the same as shown in Movie 11 and Figs. 3D, 7D, E. A filamentous display of the GCS, shown in this movie's latter part, revealed both the superficial and deep capillary networks. This GCS consists of four lobules (L1-L4). Each lobule receives one or two afferent lobular capillaries (A1-A6), which are the branches of the afferent arteriole (AA). EA, efferent arteriole.
