Serial section images of a whole glomerulus in adult mouse taken with MultiSEM 505. This movie shows images from the 925 serial sections, including the whole glomerulus of an adult mouse. The thickness of the serial sections is 90 nm. The images were taken using a secondary electron detector in a MultiSEM 505 multibeam SEM (Zeiss, Germany). Distortions of the serial section images are corrected by affine transformation. The secondary electron images are similar to the conventional transmission electron microscopy images.
