Running performance of N. cinerea, measured as the total time spent continuously running on a treadmill (LE8708TS, Harvard Apparatus, Holliston, Massachusetts, USA) under normoxia. Plastic cups lined with fluon were placed over individuals to prevent escape during measurements.
