Movie 1.

This movie shows the difference in wave and pulse fish. The first part show an Eigenmannia sp. The oscillographyc recording of its discharge. The second one shows two interacting Eigenmannias sp. discharging a wave type EOD of slightly different frequency. The animal closer to the camera is enough transparent to allow perceiving the phantoms of the nerves projecting from the spinal cord to the EO as a dark palisade ending on ‘button like’ images at the EO level. The third part shows a Gymnotus omarorum and the recordings of its EOD.
