Changes in T1w-MR image intensities of the heart, the AOV and BVs of the Mytilus galloprovincialis. The T1w-MR image intensities of the ventricle, the right auricle, the right AOV, the efferent BVs (BV-ILOD and BV-OLID) were measured every 0.48 sec and shown in Fig. 5B. A series of 128 images were presented at 5 frames·s−1. After 6 regular heart beats at a heart rate of 10 ± 0.9 bpm, the heartbeat stopped for 19 sec. Then, the heartbeat restarted.
