Movie 2.

An example of skittering locomotion in the frog Acris crepitans released shortly after capture. The specimen was captured at Merchants Millpond State Park (Gates County, NC, USA), and the skittering bout was filmed within two hours of capture. Duckweed was pushed away from the filming area to prevent interaction. Filmed on a GoPro Hero4 Black. The sequence is shown first at normal speed and then at 10% speed (zoomed in 2X, and roughly motion tracked). In the sequence, the frog jumped 7 times.
